Returns

We want you to fall in love with your new avarcas. If for any reason your purchase is not quite right, we're here to make the return process seamless. Lodge your return request within 60 days.

WHAT ARE THE RETURN REQUIREMENTS?

  • Return request must be lodged via the online portal within 60 days of the order date. 
  • The item must be unworn and in the same condition you received it.
  • The item must have all tags and original packaging. Please ensure you pack the goods securely and safely to avoid damage.  
    • The cardboard toe keepers are inserted
    • One avarca is completely wrapped in tissue paper
    • Place both avarcas together, top sides facing each other and opposite heel to toe
    • Place in the printed cotton bag
  • Exclusions: Earrings cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

    HOW DO I RETURN MY ORDER?

    Step 1. Click on the " Request a Return " tab in the drop-down menu, or you can access https://www.avarcasaustralia.com.au/a/service/ReturnsPortal 

    Step 2. Enter your order number and email address that you used at the time of purchase.

    Step 3. Select the item/s you wish to return and the reason for your return.

    Step 4. Select your return action.

    Option 1 - Exchange for a new size

    • Your chosen item will be reserved for you for 14 days.
    • Upon receipt of your return, an invoice for $12 to post the exchange will be emailed for payment.
    • Upon payment, your reserved item will be released.

     Option 2 - Exchange for another product

    • Your chosen item will be reserved for you for 14 days.
    • Upon receipt of your return, an invoice for $12 to post the exchange will be emailed for payment.
    • Upon payment, your reserved item will be released.

    Option 3 – Refund

    • Refund to the original payment method
    • Refund to store credit, valid for 1 year
    • Refund to Gift Card, valid for 3 years

    Step 5. Select your return postage option.

    • Use your carrier of choice; postage costs are to be covered by the customer. A small prepaid Australia Post satchel is the most cost-effective solution.

    Step 6. Finalise your return. You will then receive an email with shipping instructions after the request is approved.

    Please note: If you decide to use your carrier to return the package, we recommend using registered post with a tracking number as proof of return initiation in case your item is lost in the mail. We are not liable for items lost in transit without parcel tracking.

    CAN I EXCHANGE MY ORDER?

    As of February 5 2024, we are trialling the option to exchange orders. If the item you are after is not currently available, you can return it for a store credit, valid for 1 year from the date of issue. 

    PROCESSING RETURNS

    Your refund or store credit will be processed once your return parcel is received; this may take up to 3 business days. If you are wondering whether your return has been received, please check your tracking information.

    Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 15 business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement.

    Postage charges for return requests for a refund or store credit are non-refundable.

    Your use of Store Credit constitutes your agreement to our Terms of Use.

    FAULTY ITEMS

    Avarcas Australia does a thorough inspection of all items before they are shipped to our customers. We stand behind the quality of our products; however, if you come across a manufacturing fault, please contact us at hello@avarcasaustralia.com.au as soon as possible, along with photographic evidence of the fault, so we can assess. Naturally, if your product is faulty or incorrect, we will pay for the return delivery.
