There’s a heap to love about being 6’2, my legs are long so I can take fewer steps thus expel less energy to get places. Wearing heels is pointless so my feet are always comfortable (thanks to Avarcas!). I can reach everything without the help of a taller human. Back-row seats are never a problem. Not on the list? Finding jeans that are made for my measurements. Most full length jeans have a 30” inseam and I need a 36”, it makes it damn near impossible to find anything the right fit.
Being a tall woman who lives in denim, I’ve decided to share my thoughts on jeans that fit the bill and why.
Skinny Stretch AVA Jeans
Long Tall Sally - $69
My absolute top pick for denim is the Ava Skinny Stretch Jean, and I’m not ashamed to say I have multiple pairs. Made from a very comfortable cotton blend, they are super stretchy with a high waist and perfect for every season! They are available in 10 different colours, offered in an inclusive size range 8-32 and if they aren't enough reasons to love them they also come in 4 different leg lengths 32", 34” 36”, 38”.

The Everyday Mom Jeans
Long Tall Sally - $115
Comfy, super long even for my long legs, relaxed and shaping without being tight, this mid-wash pair is on high rotation all year round. Firm denim with give means they keep their shape and you can breathe in ‘em after a big meal. Essential!
Wear them with:
Trendy Ripped High Rise Jeans
Long Tall Sally - $115
Ripped denim with the rip in the right place? A miracle! This wide-leg pair in light wash denim lends itself to spring forays, slogan tees and market strolls. Being tall, the wider leg is uber flattering and easy to wear.

Yes, I have an obsession with Long Tall Sally however, it’s taken many years to find a brand that really understands tall girl style and FIT. With new colours and cuts landing every month, you’re never left in the lurch with last season's jeans.
Honourable Mentions
Levi 314 Straight Shaping Jeans offer a range of sizes including length. I love this fit but I do find Levi’s are a little on the rigid side but if you like a really firm hold, you’ll love these!
While not strictly for tall girls, Kmart Mum Jeans are a budget-friendly option coming in at $22. They’ll crop a little shorter than what’s shown in the photo but in the summer months, you can totally get away with it.
