We are proud to have a family of amazing retail stockists across Australia, and we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to showcase the stores and the amazing women behind them. We sat down and had a chat with the beautiful Trish, owner of Ewe Two on Dandaloo to have a quick chat about her store, what makes her tick and her love for Avarcas.

WHAT SORT OF STORE IS EWE TWO?Two ladies with baby's in arms standing outside of shopfront

Ewe Two is a gorgeous emporium of unique items and an unbeatable range of quality gifts for men, women, and children. When you walk into Ewe Two, you will be amazed at the array of ladies clothing, baby gifts, candles, furniture, homewares, cowhides, body lotions, jewellery, handbags, shoes, and local produce. Located 80kms from Dubbo, Ewe Two has become a much-loved drop-in centre for locals and a must-see destination for travellers and tourists.

WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO START YOUR BUSINESS?

Prior to owning the store, I worked with the previous owner Julie. Then 3 years ago I purchased Ewe Two and now, Julie continues to work beside me.

HOW LONG HAS THE BUSINESS BEEN OPEN FOR?

The store was started 27 years ago

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS?

Milk jug full of cotton bouquet and kitchenware in background

I love meeting all the lovely women and the odd fella that walks through our doors. I also love retail therapy. Believe me, I can shop!

HOW DOES A TYPICAL DAY FOR YOU UNFOLD?

I’m usually racing out the door with a coffee to meet one of the girls at the shop around 9.30 and honestly don’t stop till after 5pm. I’m a little bit of office bitch, I troll the net for new stock, touch base with my gorgeous staff, take phone calls, try and work out the new cash register and scanning system... they tell me it will bring me into the modern age (what’s wrong with dinosaurs) and take the odd photo for our social media. Julie does a fantastic job of fashion while I try my hand at the furniture and homewares, and then we head home.

WHAT LITTLE THING IN LIFE GIVES YOU JOY?

Helping others, there is always someone worse off than us being kind costs nothing but can bring joy to others.

HOW DO YOU RECHARGE YOUR BATTERIES?

Having time with my girls.

WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO PUT AVARCAS AUSTRALIA ON YOUR SHELVES?

Multi Glitter Sparkles and Quote letter board

My daughter.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVOURITE AVARCAS?

Gosh, where do I start? I would have 14 pairs! I just walk into the mudroom and pick a pair to go with what I’m wearing. That’s the advantage of owning a boutique. Maybe the Multi Gold Glitter with Navy Nubuck running a hot second.
