For those who know me, it would come as no surprise that my love language is gift giving. I love putting time and thought into curating gorgeous gifts for my loved ones.
One of the things I love most about this little business of mine is that it allows me to send ‘gifts’ on the daily. Your Avarcas (often gifts you’ve purchased from you to you) are processed and packed with my own two hands. Believe it or not, I absolutely love seeing which colour you’ve purchased. I adore handwriting thank you cards and adding extra bits of joy (lollies!) into your order.
In the past 4 years since Avarcas Australia started with your help we’ve been able to donate $50,000 to charities doing incredible work in areas of homelessness, epilepsy, premature and sick babies and animal welfare.
But my heart says I can and need to do more. When I think about the greatest gift I can give? It’s simple, a world where my children and their children can continue to grow and thrive.
And so, with World Environment Day on Saturday 5 June I’m doing my bit to help mitigate the impacts of climate change in partnership with ReForest Now. ReForest Now is a non-profit environmental NGO that protects, conserves and regenerates forests. Their mission is to return rainforest to the land where it once stood while protecting existing rainforests in Australia.
For every pair of Avarcas purchased, we'll donate $1 to ReForest Now. For every $5 donated, a tree will be planted. I aim to plant 3,000 trees in a year 🌳🌳🌳
To kick this amazing partnership off we have donated $5000, to plant 1000 trees for my two boys, Caden and Eli.
